    n Inequality to Generate Some Statistical Distributions

    In this work, we established Markov inequality via Binomial, Poisson and Geometric Distribution. Results obtained were used to obtain probability bound for some random variables. Our results are in agreement with the existing works.

    Properties of Some Distributions Using Chebyshev’s Inequality Approach

    In this article, we give a simpler proof of Chebyshev inequality and use the result to obtain some properties of Binomial, Poisson and Geometric distributions. Furthermore, analysis of the results has shown that Chebyshev inequality is effective for determining convergence bound of the distributions.
